FRIDAY ON GANGA

Ganga walks towards Amma ji when she asks her to. Madhvi questions the kids. Where did you disappear to without telling anyone? Dadi was so worried. Amma ji interrupts her. Don’t scold my grandsons. Ganga is to be blamed. You took them with you, right? Where did you go to and why? What’s in that bag that you are hiding behind your back? Amma ji and Ganga fight to take or keep the bag. The saree and the jewellery fall on the floor in the process. Everyone is taken aback to see all that. Maid walks forward to pick them up but Ganga clearly tells her to stay away. Amma ji deduces that they all belong to Ganga. This is your Gauna’s saree? Ganga nods. Bappa had brought it for me. Sagar tells them how Sudha Bua had forcefully kept them with her. We had gone there to bring that only. Why will Sudha Bua keep something with her that doesn’t even belong to her? Amma ji signals him to wait / stop.

She sits down with Ganga on the floor. Did you go to Ashram to bring your clothes and jewellery? What was the need for you to go there? You could have told me. I would have called them up and your belongings would have been here in no time. They are really nice but what will you do with them? Will you wear them? Ganga accepts it that she loves red saree, bangles and jewellery. My Bappa had brought them for me with love but Sudha Bua snatched them all from me. Amma ji agrees to let her wear it if she doesn’t like white saree. Maid is shocked but Amma ji stops her form interrupting them. She turns to Ganga again. You got married once. You must know that one cannot wear these clothes just like that. She tells Pulkit to call a rickshaw. We are going to temple. Madhvi is tensed. She tries to ask Amma ji about it but gets no reply. Amma ji and Ganga leave in the rickshaw. Everyone is concerned for Ganga.

They reach the temple. Ganga too wants to know why they have come to temple. Amma ji gives no reply and they go inside. Ganga is mesmerised seeing Ma’s idol. We dint get any flowers or Prasad. Please tell me now what are we doing here. Amma ji asks her if she knows who this Goddess is. Ganga nods. She smiles as she notices her lovely appearance, her attire. Amma ji keeps indicating to her that Ma is married. You are not ready without vermilion. Now you tell me what’s the point in dressing up incompletely? You will have to have vermilion in your forehead if you really want to dress up properly. Amma ji requests Pandit ji to give her a little vermilion for the girl. The priest is offended after noticing Ganga (widow). Ganga questions him about it. Why can’t I have Ma’s vermilion? He explains that it is a sin for a widow to dress up, put vermilion in her forehead, etc. Ma’s vermilion cannot be put on a widow’s forehead. Ganga reasons that the vermilion belongs to Devi Ma, who are you to say no? Bappa used to say that everyone has a right on God’s Prasad. A few ladies feel Ganga is too arrogant. We would have taught her a lesson if she was from our family. Amma ji and Ganga look at each other.

Amma ji explains the facts to her. God accepts everyone but a widow is never allowed to put Devi Ma’s vermilion in your forehead. This is the punishment of widows. You are no different. Ganga says why she will punish me. I dint become a widow by my will! Amma ji says it is as per everyone’s destiny. you must learn to accept it. no one can fight with their destiny. Ganga looks at her sadly. She refuses to accept it. Bappa used to say that our fate is in our hands. Everyone is stunned by her bold words. Amma ji tells Ganga to show her her destiny. we cannot change what had been written in our destiny. we are widows and we have to live like that only. Ganga says that isn’t so. Amma ji tells her that her Bappa was wrong. Not just in your hands but it is also written on your forehead that you are a widow. Ganga declines. She rubs her forehead vigorously so she can erase that, if in case it is indeed there! Amma ji insists that she cannot erase what has been written forher. You wont be able to do that in this birth atleast. Priest too calmly tells the same to her. he gives her flowers and Prasad. You cannot get vermilion. Amma ji suggests Ganga to take what she is getting. Think it to be your destiny and accept it. whatever happened with you happened as per Devi Ma’s wish. Ganga still refuses to accept it as it is not Devi Ma who has said that to her. it was the priest only. Amma ji is irked. I, priest and everyone else in the world is good for nothing. It is just you and your Bappa who know everything. Ganga agrees. A Maiyya loves her kids so much. She makes her kids wear new clothes, get all dressed up then why would this Maiyya tell her kids to wear white clothes? Amma ji and everyone look at her in amazement / speechlessly.

Precap: Amma ji locks Ganga’s stuff in one of her trunks. Ganga asks for it but Amma ji sticks to her point. She keeps the trunk on the top of the cupboard in her room (out of Ganga’s reach). Ganga says one day you will give them back to me on your own. Amma ji looks at her wide eyed.

Epi begins with Ganga saying that a Maiyya loves her kids so much. She makes her kids wear new clothes, get all dressed up then why would this Maiyya tell her kids to wear white clothes? Amma ji asks her if she will compare humans to Goddess now. Ganga says all of you are humans. How do you know what Maiyya is thinking then? How did you understand what’s going on in her mind? Amma ji and everyone look at her in amazement / speechlessly. Amma ji has no answer for her questions. Don’t argue; this just cannot happen! Ganga has understood it that everyone is fooling her / lying to her as they don’t want her to wear her beautiful clothes and jewels. Amma ji realises that they are the culprit. See what I do with them now. She picks up Ganga’s stuff and walks out of the temple. Ganga follows her, asking her to return her clothes to her. Where are you taking them?

Amma ji and Ganga come home. Ganga pulls at the little bag. My Bappa had brought them for me. I got them from Sudha Bua after so much difficulty and now you have taken them. Sagar too tells her Dadi to give Ganga’s stuff back to her but she tells him not to interfere in the matter. No one will say anything. She goes to her room. Madhvi stops Sagar from following Dadi. She is very angry.

They are of no use to you. You will neither get these things nor this key. She ties the key at the of her saree’s pallu. Ganga very boldly asks for the key. Amma ji vows not to give it back to Ganga till her last breath. You are staring at me? Ganga walks toward her, without blinking her eyes even. One day you will give them back to me on your own. They were given to me by my Bappa. I will take them one day. I wont leave them at all. Amma ji looks at her wide eyed. Ganga leaves.

Sagar rushes to Ganga. Has Dadi kept your stuff? Ganga leaves from there without saying anything. Madhvi stops him from following Ganga. He walks up to his Dadi angrily. Why didn’t you give Ganga’s stuff to her? Her Bappa had brought them for her. Return all that to her asap. Dadi is angry that Sagar is talking to her like this for a girl whom he doesn’t even know properly. Sagar refuses to calm down even when Madhvi tells him to. You (Dadi) will also feel bad if someone takes your things, right? Madhvi stops him. he leaves from there sadly. You are very bad Dadi. Amma ji scolds / taunts Madhvi for not teaching anything good to Sagar. He doesn’t even know how to talk to elders. You have spoilt him. Madhvi denies. you know I never teach anything wrong to kids. I in fact stop them from doing so. Amma ji is not interested in her explanations. She heads back to her room.

Ganga recalls Amma ji’s words sadly. She still has that little potli tied around her waist. She looks at the little cycle show piece
inside it. One day, she had cried as Munakka had stolen all the fruits that she had gathered. I told him not to do it but he fought with me and took them with him. Her Bappa had explained that tears don’t solve any problem. I know Munakka was wrong but nothing can happen if you get so upset about it. He made a small loss but you are making a bigger loss by wasting your precious tears like this. Always remember one this, world can snatch anything but they cannot snatch anyone’s fate. Someone can snatch your things forcefully but no one can snatch your smile. They share a cute moment then. Flashback ends.

Sagar comes there. He is relieved to see her smile again. She tells him what her Bappa had told her once. I wont let anyone snatch my anything from me when I grow up. Sagar appreciates her. you are very brave. He explains the meaning to her and smiles.

Ganga sets the table while Maharaj ji brings the food. Door bell rings. Maharaj ji sends Ganga to see who is here. Ganga receives an envelope. Maharaj ji asks her if it is urgent. She has no idea. He tells her to keep it on the table and resume her work. She does as she is told.

It is 2 pm. Madhvi gets a call from Raghav ji. An important courier was to come at home today. They are to be presented in the court. They are not here so I thought of checking at home. She denies. Raghav ji ends the call then. Maharaj ji comes to ask Madhvi about the dinner menu. She in turn asks him if a courier has come. He tells her about the courier which Ganga had received. She points out that it is mentioned on the courier that it is to be delivered asap to Niranjan Babu. Maharaj ji says Ganga had said that it is a letter. Amma ji asks him if Ganga will decide what’s important or not in the house. She sends him to deliver it to Niranjan asap. Madhvi informs Raghav ji as well. The hearing is due in 10 minutes.

Amma ji taunts Ganga. You dint share it intentionally. You are concerned only about your jewels and clothes. Why would you tell! Madhvi is tensed as they have very less time.

Niranjan asks for the documents from Raghav ji. Maharaj ji is stuck in traffic. Niranjan decides to go to court without those papers only as it will be contempt of court otherwise. Maharaj ji reaches there just when Niranjan heads to the court. Maharaj ji is tensed.

At home, Maharaj ji narrates the entire incident to Amma ji and everyone. Amma ji is worried for her son. these papers are very important. Niranjan and Raghav ji come home just then. He scolds Madhvi for not sending the papers on time. My hard work of months went for a toss in a minute. Please give them to me now atleast. Maharaj ji gives it to him. Why dint you send them when they were delivered at the house? Why did you take so much time? Dint you realise the urgency of it after looking at the envelope? Amma ji tells him to question the real culprit and not Madhvi. Ganga is the one who was careless. Niranjan points out that they all were also at home at that time. Why are you blaming her then? He turns to Madhvi. Please take care from the next time. If anything comes at home in my name then it should reach me at the very same time only. Madhvi nods. Ganga watches everything from a distance.

Precap: Niranjan explains to Ganga that she should have sent it to him asap as it was mentioned over the envelope. He realises that she doesn’t know how to read it. He decides to send Ganga to school but Amma ji is against it.

FRIDAY ON JHANSI KI RANI

Manu discusses about her future plans with Kanta. She wants her women army to increase in numbers so that they can take on the Britishers.
Later, Vahini Sahib notices muddy footmarks on the carpet. She gets irritated by this and immediately calls Shanta to inquire about the same. Indu tells Vahini Sahib that they are Manu and Prachi's footmarks.
Meanwhile, Manu and Prachi quickly clean their dirty feet. When Vahini Sahib asks Manu the reason for going outside, she tells her that she had gone to collect some soil which helps in cleaning the utensils.
At night, Manu decides to teach Manson a lesson as he had insulted Tatyaguru. She takes a big risk by entering Manson's house, where he is fast asleep, and takes all the gold coins from his cupboard, given to him by Baji Rao.
Will Manson find out about the missing gold coins?

Manson finds out that the gold coins in his cupboard are stolen. He also finds a letter written by 'Kranti Guru' stating that if the Britishers continue to harass the people, all the money which they have collected in the name of tax will be stolen.
Later, Vaishali meets Nanasaheb and tells him that she will not be able to meet him anymore because Acharyaji is planning to get her married. Nanasaheb assures her that he will speak to her father very soon.
Tatyaguru notices Manu doing the household work and praises her for showing immense dedication in whatever task she takes up. He then tells her about 'Kranti Guru' who has challenged the British rule.
Towards the end of the episode, Kusum informs Manu that her sister's marriage has been called off because her parents were unable to meet the demands of the groom's parents. Manu asks her to hide an empty box in the verandah of her house and God will help her out.
Will Manu identity as 'Kranti Guru' be discovered?

a rumor has spread in the entire village that Manson has taken bribe from Bajirao. Dhrupad meets Manson and informs him about the same.
Later, Tatyaji meets Gangadhar Rao in his palace and tells him that he has found a girl whose horoscope matches his. He reveals that the name of the girl is Shritambara.
A furious Manson immediately goes to meet Bajirao and asks him if he has the gold coins. He also accuses Bajirao of supporting Kranti Guru to revolt against the British. Manson wants Bajirao to give an explanation about Kranti Guru to the Governor.
When Manson leaves the palace, he tells Manu that he will teach Bajirao a lesson. Manu takes an oath that if Manson harms Bajirao, she will ensure Manson has to make a hasty retreat from Bithur.

Manu convinces the villagers to allow their daughters to participate in the Ram Leela.
Manson warns Smith about Manu, who he warns could be a threat to the British rule in India. At that time, Dhrupad cut shorts their conversation and tells Manson that this year only girls will be taking part in the Ram Leela play and it is Manu who has taken the initiative.
When Manu rehearses with other girls, she sees Manson and his officers whipping a farmer for not paying tax. Later, these officers also tell Manu that they cannot rehearse in the farm without permission.
At night, an officer gives Manson the account statement of all the taxes collected from Indians. Towards the end of the episode, Manu enters Manson house and burns all the papers.
What will Manson do now?

Manu asks gold coins from Bajirao so that she can give it to Manson to get permission for rehearsals. When Manson arrives with his officers, Manu gives him the gold coins.
At night, Manu pastes posters asking people to fight the British rule in the village. Dhrupad also reads the poster and finds broken bangles lying next to it. He wonders if Kranti Guru is a female.
Later, the episode takes a shocking twist when Ali Bahadur stabs Gangadhar Rao, who was offering prayers in a temple inside his palace. Maharani Sahiba and Lacchu also stab Gangadhar Rao. Gangadhar is surprised when he sees Krishna Rao holding a sword.
Will Gangadhar Rao survive?

Manu recites few lines against the Britishers. The other girls rehearsing with her immediately identify that these lines were used by Kranti Guru.
Dhrupad, hiding behind a tree, witnesses all the things that Manu was explaining to everyone. He spots bangles worn by her and finds them similar to the broken bangles he had found earlier. He suspects Manu to be Kranti Guru.
A servant updates Maharani Sahiba about Janki Devi who has found an appropriate queen for Jhansi. She also tells her that the prospective queen is Vish Kanya.
Later, Dhrupad meets Manson and tells him that Manu is Kranti Guru. Manson is aware that he cannot go to meet Bajirao again with the evidence he has got from Dhrupad. He decides to set a trap for Manu.
During rehearsals, Manu tells Nanasaheb to train Vaishali to use the bow and arrow.
Manu is surprised when she hears an announcement about Kranti Guru being caught. She wonders who else is Kranti Guru besides her.

Scene 1:
Location: Samrat’s residence
Samrat is flipping through his files, and radha comes in asking why is he packing stuff, as she would do it for him, tomorrow, before leaving for the guesthouse. he says tht he just has files surfing through. She then gives him prashad, and he asks whats this for. she says that she went to the temple, to pray for his success in the case, and to get his son. He says that he isnt tensed fr his son, as that lady has made his life hell. Radha starts blaming urmi as to how she tortured him. He says that he would teach urmi a lesson, and that he is sick of the child too. radha asks him not to say like that, as he is his son after all. He says that he should fire two bullets, one on urmi and one on shaurya. She asks him not to do so, as once he gets shaurya, she would make him a good son, and love him just the way she loves him too. Samrat wonders where he has landed himself, and asks whats he doing. He then begins to get romantic with her, trying to take advantage of her blind worship. He closes the door behind her, while she shyly waits. He is tensed with the CCTV as radha gets in his room, and he tries to get intimate with her, and he covers the camera with a handkerchief. As he gets down to business, he doesnt realise that the hankey slipped off, and the camera records their physical intimacy, while he asks her not to be tensed, as she should just worship him.

Scene 2:
Location: Samrat’s residence
The next morning, ishaan and urmi come in Blue Peridot, and wonder if the manager and the waitresses confirm that a room was booked for samrat for over a year, for his infidelity. The manager comes and asks her how can he help him. She identifies herself, and then says that she must be knowing about her divorce and custody case of the child. He asks what can be done. She asks about the special room booked for samrat. He says that it was for his special guests. She asks that he knew what were those special guests. He is silent. ishan asks him to come and testify in in the court, as to what samrat did in the rooms. he is shocked and asks how can he talk about his illegal business so openly. She assures him that nothing wrong would come to him and the hotel. He refuses to help, despite their insistence. They are tensed, wondering what to do now.

Scene 3:
Location: Guest House
All come at th guesthouse, and shashi comes in searching for the best room. Samrat asks rudra to see the unloading of the stuff. He eyes Radha, and then gets mukti busy in getting the stuff inside. He starts to tease radha, while she tries to wriggle free from his grip. Just then, Ishaan and urmi pass by, where they find samrat overpowering radha. She identifies her as the same girl, who they sw in the temple. ishaan wonders whats samrat doing here with this married girl. they are baffled as to whats the matter. Then they find mukti, and ishaan thinks that this girl shall come to their use, and that she would definitely testify against samrat in the court.

Scene 4:
Location: Sushma’s residence
Saroj and granny come and thank sushma profusely for taking care of their daughter, when they deserted her, being her family. sushma says that she is doing very miniscule compared to what urmi does for them. Saroj says that they are indebted to her. Sushma says that saroj has been blessed with a gem and that they should give her the rightful right, respect and love. granny agrees. sushma says that she wont let urmi go. They all smile. saroj says that they wouldnt even take her, and that she is much better than them as urmi’s family. urmi and ishaan come back, and are pleasantly surprised to find saroj and granny there. urmi asks about anu, and all get tensed. saroj says that she is fine but she didnt come. Granny laments that she has cocooned herself. sushma says that she has to come out of this shock. granny says that she should get married, as that would divert her mind from the sadness and grief. Urmi agrees, and saroj says that she would talk to anu, and asks ishaan to talk as she listens to him.

Scene 5:
Location: Niranjan’s office
Samrat starts snubbing the lawyer, for not having done anything credential. Niranjan instead points out as to how he failed him all the time, despite all the innovative ideas that he got. They both continue blaming each other, while a series of allegations and counter allegations follow. finally samrat is unable to control any longer, and asks him to get a final hearing, and that he wont take any more risks, and asks him to come up with something in the next 24 hours. Niranjan asks what would happen if he doesnt comply. samrat says that he would extort back every penny. samrat leaves in a rage, while niranjan fumes that he is being threatened.

Scene 6:
Location: Guesthouse
kanchan and radha get to unloading and unpacking shashi’s stuff to set up her room. while she is working, radha’s dupatta slips from the shoulder. Shashi notices the mangalsutra, and is shocked to see it. she raises a hue and cry over it, while kanchan is stunned. Shashi asks kanchan whats the reality and this drama. kanchan too asks her. Radha stands helplessly speechelss. Samrat, who has just come in, is shocked to see this scene, as he remembers putting it on her. The screen freezes on his scared face.

While being interrogted and grilled, by Shashi and kanchan insistently, She starts crying profusely. Shashi tells radha that her crying isnt going to help, and that she would have to be thrown out, unless she tells them who is she wearing the mangalsutra for. She asks radha to tell everything. All tensedly wait for radha to speak, while Samrat is shocked. When she doesnt, shashi asks her to be thrown out, as her husband would fend for her. samrat meanwhile is shocked as to what would happen now, and intervenes asking where would she go, in this dire situation. radha is scared. Samrat asks her to tell it to everyone, while shashi is shocked. He puts the idea in their mind, that maybe she wore it in god’s name. Kanchan asks if she wore this in God’s name. samrat takes this point, while shashi is confused. He says that radha keeps going to the temple, and then radha too succumbs to this lie only. kanchan’s gesture immediately chnges, while samrat breathes a sigh of relief. Shashi is still baffled, while all others smile at all this. shashi asks radha why wasnt she saying anything. samrat asks them to get to work. radha is still scared, while shashi is frustrated. samrat hollers at all of them to get going with unpacking.

In her room, while radha is in incoherent tears, saying that she had to lie. Samrat says that he too doesnt like this. radha asks him to share this with the fanily. He asks if she is thinking of ruining him. She vehemently denies. He asks her why is she doing this then. She says that its their family, and they wouldnt do him any harm if they know this. He wonders how to get out of this situation, as she has driven him nuts. He composes himself, and says that he can say, but this fact can be used against him in any which way, as he doesnt trust anyone, and one mistake can spoil them forever, and he wont get a divorce, and she wouldnt be able to become his wife. she says that she udnerstands but she doesnt like to lie. he asks her to sit down, and says that she is doing good, and that god would repay her back, as lies told for a good intention is good. He says that once all this is over, then he would stand for her. He then tries to emotionally blackmail her, if she doesnt believe him, as he did exactly what she said, and then now if anything happens, he would kill himself. this works, and she falls for this sweet trap.

Scene 2:
Location: Sushma’s residence
Urmi wonders who that girl is. Ishaan says that whoevere she is, she would help them. urmi asks why would she give testimony for them, against samrat. ishaan says that she is being tortured by samrat, and when they tell her what urmi went through with samrat, she would stand up for urmi, being a woman herself. urmi asks why would she believe them, as she doesnt know. He asks her not to be a pessimist, and think about how can give her info about that girl. she says hat aditi was there, but now there’s noone who can tell her about them. he asks her to think of someone else then. Urmi gets an idea, and says that there’s one person who can tell them. He asks her to approach that person, and find out, and urmi gets to thinking.

Scene 3:
Location: In the market
The next morning, while urmi waits impatiently, she is happy to find mukti having come to meet her. mukti says that he found safe time out, to come without anyone seeing him. She thanks him and then asks about his well being. Mukti says that he doesnt like it at home, as everything has changed, and samrat is goingfor the worse with each passing day. He asks whats the problem, and if everything is okay. She says that all is okay, and tells about shaurya’s custody case, and says that she needs his help. He tells about the family shifting to the guesthouse, for renovation of the original mansion. She then asks about the new girl. Mukti identifies her as radha, and then tells her everything, as to how she came here, and that she isnt married. she says that she knows that she is married. He says that he doesnt know of her being married. urmi is baffled, wondering whats the matter. She asks if he knows anything else. Mukti tells all that he knows. Mutki asks her not to tell samrat that he came here to meet her. she assures him that she wont say anything, and then mukti takes his leave. urmi meanwhile is baffled about radha.

Scene 4:
Location: Sushma’s residence
Urmi comes home and relates everything to ishaan. they think that there’s more to the situation than it seems. They are boggled, about radha’s marital status. She isnt hopeful that radha would help them, as kanchan wont let her to, as even rudra didnt support her. ishaan says that there’s no fault in trying, as they have to gather evidence against samrat to prove that he is characterless. urmi however is sure, that there’s noone in that family who would stand up for her, and testify against samrat in the court.

Scene 5:
Location: Niranjan’s office
While Niranjan glaots about his victory on the phone, samrat comes in. samrat comes in complimenting him that he called him even before the time limit, and that the minute his ass was on fire, he came on track, and starts ranting bout how smart he is, that he put a stop on niranjan’s increasing tab. Nirajan asks if he is so silly to think that samrat’s fees is what pulls him through, as he has many such clients. Samrat continues to taunt him, that he does nothing but despises his clients, and makes a fool for them. He asks him whats niranjan’s final move, that would get them an assured victory. niranjan says that there’s a way. He says that they would have to buy the judge of the family court, and that they wont have to resort to false witnesses, and false testimonies. Samrat is tensed, asking what he thinks of himself, and if he is a fool. He asks why he needs his lawyer then, if he has to bribe the judge. He says that from this moment, he is off the case. niranjan says that the judge isnt his relative, and if he goes to bribe him, he would be sent to jail. samrat says that noone can do that to him. Niranjan says that anybody cant go in and bribe the judge, as thats handled by highly trustworthy people. He says to samrat that unfortunately for him, niranjan is running his case, and he better be good to his own lawyer. Niranjan eyes him tersely while samrat fumes with anger and frustration. the screen freezes on his face.

Precap: Ishaan asks urmi that now they would have to come up with something really strong, to prove once and for all, that samrat is completely incapable for shaurya’s custody. she asks what. Meanwhile, radha is emotionally blackmailed by samrat, saying that he is in such worse conditions, due to urmi, having driven him nuts, that he says anything to anyone, and vents out his frustration and lashes out at whoever’s before him. He successfully managers to get her sympathy, and then leaves. radha says that she cant see samrat being in such a tormented state anymore. She says that she would have to meet urmi.
