The Episode starts with Dadi and Dasi asking Abhi to massage Munni’s feet. Abhi agrees. Dadi says we shall see how Pragya/Munni looks at him when he massages her. Dasi says you are right. Purab sees Sangram Singh and thinks why this man is hiding his face with shawl and follows him. Sangram hides as someone interrupts him. Abhi thinks who will do her massage now and asks Mitali if she will do his important work. Mitali asks him to say and asks if he wants to host her concert. Abhi says it is more important work than that. Mitali gets more excited and asks him to say. Abhi asks her to massage Munni’s feet and says it is very important. Mitali makes excuse that she has to teach Babli etc. Abhi comes to room and thinks to massage her legs before she wakes up. Allah wariyan plays….Pragya is awake

and smiles. She enjoys the massage. Pragya thinks he shall be like this always. Dadi and Dasi peep inside the room. Dasi says we can’t see Munni’s expressions. Tanu sees them and thinks what they are cooking. Dadi and dasi leave. Tanu thinks to check.
Disha looks for Purab. Someone calls Disha to come to mandap. Purab comes to Sangram and asks who is he? Sangram says he saw marriage happening and came there. Purab asks him to stop talking non sense and asks him to leave. Tanu peeps in and saw him massaging Pragya’s legs. Abhi thinks if she wakes up then he will feel embarrassment. He senses that she is awake and laughing on him. Sangram Singh asks Purab if he will kick him out. Purab says did you forget that I had beaten you with sticks. Sangram Singh says I didn’t forget anything and will take revenge from you. He says you brought Disha here, but can’t take her back as everyone is with me. Purab says I am not afraid of your threats. Sangram Singh says he saw Disha and touched her silently and felt current. He says he wants to hold her and….Purab beats him and asks how dare you to touch my wife. Sangram Singh says you have beaten me in my place and says you will not be saved. They have a fight.

Abhi stops massaging her. Pragya gets up and says she really enjoyed the massage. Abhi asks if she was laughing and thinking that rockstar is massaging her feet. Pragya says I was awake and enjoyed massage thoroughly. It was like you are playing a guitar and says she didn’t get that feel in her life. Abhi gets upset and says your ending will not be happy. Pragya thinks he looks cute while shying.

Precap:
Sangram kidnaps Purab. Disha runs after the car. Pragya tells abhi that Purab and Disha are in trouble as Sangram caught them..


Preeta understands Karan is hiding the ring and for right purpose. Sherlin asks what they are doing so close to each other. Karan says they just started dating, and was about to kiss her over her cheek. Sherlin curtly thinks she got the younger brother if she couldn’t get Rishab. Sherlin leaves. Preeta walks inside.
There, Pandit asks for engagement ring to begin the ceremony. Rakhi says its better they do the ceremony in time but she read somewhere they must give the couple sweets before the ceremony for successful wedding.
Preeta shouts at Karan for kissing her. Karan clarifies she was lost in his thoughts, else he only tried to kiss her. He tells Preeta he is aware there are girls in the party who would be happy if he kiss them, but she isn’t among them. Preeta still argues

what Sherlin would think about her, her reputation would be at stake with this impression. Karan says it’s his reputation that is at stake, his high class girlfriends… Preeta asks what class he is talking about. If Sofia? Or Malishka? Her standards are much higher. Karan pins her at the wall and shuts her mouth with his hand. They share an eye lock. Soon Preeta turns to leave.
At a corner, Mr. Luthra asks Rakhi what’s the truth. Rakhi tells him the ring is in Preeta’s finger. The family, including Sherlin heard this. Kareena was irked. Rishab was happy that even fate desires the ring be in someone else’s finger. Sherlin asks if they have another option, she doesn’t want a delay in the engagement. Mr. Luthra says there is, he sends everyone to the stage. He then tells Rakhi they must arrange for the same ring in Preeta’s hands.
Sameer turns around watching Shrishti but she stops him. He clarifies he didn’t stalk her and didn’t even stare at her. She agrees, then after a little argument forgive her. Rakhi comes and send them to get Karan and Preeta.
Karan teases Preeta as she attempts to take the ring off her hand. Preeta tells him to help her, everyone is waiting for the ring outside. Karan finally comes to help her, they share an eyelock in the mirror. The ring doesn’t come out. Karan tells her to wash it and sit here. He rubs some shampoo and carefully pulls the ring. Preeta smiles watching his care. Karan finally cheers getting the ring, he was concerned about the scratch on her finger and puts a bandage over it.
Shrishti comes calling Preeta and Karan. They hurry outside. They all hurry towards the hall.
Sarla hurriedly instructs her brother to serve the food right after the ceremony. She was concerned about the food, then asks to taste the kheer and feels it tastes a little odd; but let it go as nothing can be changed now.
In the hall, Sherlin hears the gossips about the engagement getting late. Kareena tries to calm Sherlin down. Karan reaches with the ring. Mr. Luthra hurries them towards the ceremony. Preeta and Shrishti reach together. Kritika gives the ring to Rishab who was lost in thoughts of Preeta, he feels upset while looking towards Preeta. Preeta notices Sherlin had been staring at her curtly and thinks may be she is angry because of delay. Rishab tries to tell Rakhi that Preeta must wear this ring. Rakhi doesn’t understand. Kareena tells them to hurry, everyone claps. Rishab was helpless. Preeta also cheers Rishab who finally comes to Sherlin but again turns to look at Preeta for once. Rishab thinks may be he gets engaged to her in some other life.
Everyone hurries towards the food. Sherlin thinks now the game has started. She wish Preeta would get the tears now. Roo comes to ask Preeta and Shrishti for some fun like Kritika’s engagement. Rishab finally agrees but only if everyone else also dance with their partner. Karan says he has no partner, but Kritika takes Preeta towards him. Sameer pulls Shrishti as her partner. Sarla announces the food is ready. Sherlin was hopeful to get her plan successful. Shrishti comes to tell Sameer it’s a favor on him, he mustn’t forget.
The couples dance in the party. Karan and Preeta gives a separate performance after a song. Later, Shrishti and Sameer give a rash performance. Sanjana was happy that everything went really well. She sits to enjoy the kheer but Sherlin comes to take the bowl off her hand, then hurries to Kareena and tells her it contains rat poison. Kareena was shocked.

PRECAP: Shrishti comes home to Preeta and Rishab and says a lot of people fall ill in the hall and blames the food. Preeta was worried. There, Sherlin tells Kareena she did it as a revenge to Rakhi, it will bring a little pain but no one would die. Kareena slaps Sherlin.

TUESDAY ON JANG YEONG-SIL

We start out with kidnapping and a swordfight, as I slowly resign myself to the fact that “Jang Yeong-sil – Drama” really does seem committed to telling a standard political Korean drama story only the main character is a scientist for some reason. It’s really bad timing for that, because “Six Flying Dragons” is already telling a fairly similar story, with several of the same historical characters, and “Jang Yeong-sil – Drama” can’t really measure up in comparison. Yeong-sil being a peripheral character to the action just makes it too hard to get invested.

The palace scenes are also just confusing enough that I’m left scratching my head as to what’s going on. King Taejong and King Saejong wear the exact same outfits, and are addressed the exact same way by subordinate characters. In this episode that actually manages to happen even in the context of the same scene. I think, upon further reflection, that King Saejong is still just the crown prince although I’m not totally sure. King Taejong is definitely calling the shots though, whatever the official titles are.

There are still some good points, buried though they are amidst all the political plot. Yeong-sil finally meets So-hyeon again, and impresses her with his scientific power of whittling. For the record I don’t think whittling is actually a skill that has anything to do with science but whatever. Anything that gives Yeong-sil an excuse to hang around with palace characters is a move in the right direction, because it’s a move toward making Yeong-sil more relevant in the overall story. Right now he’s just a backup character.

Although on another level, I’m going to be a little annoyed if Yeong-sil moves up through the ranks solely by making the right political connections. All the scientists and officials Yeong-sil has been fighting with up until now gained their positions through promotional systems based on social class and family status rather than actual qualifications. What makes Yeong-sil an interesting historical personage is that he was of the first group of people to gain access a high government rank by virtue of earned merit.

More and more I find myself unsure of what kind of story “Jang Yeong-sil – Drama” is trying to tell. Although the real issue is more likely that the story elements I do recognize feel completely out of place in a story that started out with a young boy getting all glassy and moon-eyed over science. Yeong-sil is a man whose head is constantly turned toward the sky- so why is the focus on what’s happening on Earth?

Blanca and Raquel are talking. They are standing in front of a grave. Raquel tells Blanca that the grave was made especially for her. Raquel points the gun towards her head. Blanca is scared. She urges Raquel not to kill her saying she is carrying a part of her. Raquel laughs and tells her that she is the one she hates the most. Raquel is about to pull the trigger when Blanca tells her that she is pregnant and she is carrying Eduardo's baby. Raquel tells her that she is a tramp and that she might have gotten involved with Salvador. Blanca swears that the baby belongs to Eduardo. She asks for mercy but Raquel doesn't seem to care.

Valentina adriano christobal Eduardo and George are talking. Valentina wants to tell the whole truth to the entire family. Adriano tells her that he already knows the son they had was christobal. Valentina narrates the whole story of how much Raquel was envious of her ever since she was born because their mother died while having her. Valentina then became her father's favourute, when Raquel was jealous because Adriano was always in love with Valentina. Valentina then narrated how Raquel seduced Adriano, slept with him, both got pregnant at the same time. Valentina's child was born healthy and beautiful. Raquel took the child but Valentina begged her to keep him since Raquel had already convinced Her father that Valentina had lost her mind. Raquel's baby was born weak and sickly and that's why she gave all her love to Valentina's baby. Valentina then tells Eduardo that he is the baby she had with Adriano. Eduardo is shocked.

At the gravesite, Raquel also narrates to Blanca her story with Valentina and the reasons why she has always despised her. She tells Blanca that she will still kill her because the baby she is expecting is not her grandchild. Blanca is confused because her only hope of surviving Raquel's wrath was for her to have compassion for her own grandchild. She asks Raquel why she is saying that and Raquel tells her that Eduardo is not her son but her nephew. Blanca concludes that Eduardo and christobal are twins but Raquel tells her that Chris is really her son because Adriano got both of them pregnant at the same time. Now Raquel is ready to shoot Blanca. Blanca thinks fast and tells Raquel to tell her everything before she kills her. Raquel thinks its a good idea to tell her everything before she kills her. She takes her to an abandoned house.

Eduardo is still taken aback by the news. Christobal confirms the news. He tells Eduardo about the call he had received from the hospital about Eduardo and Adriano's DNA being a perfect match. Adriano is delighted at the news. They all agree that Raquel was sick in the head. Christobal says Raquel had no heart because she was able to deny her own son to protect her a secret. Christobal calls Raquel.

Raquel is talking to Blanca. Blanca is telling her to stop the madness and give herself up to the police. Raquel is telling Blanca to shut up. Blanca refuses to shut up. Raquel shoots her on the arm. She is loosing a lot of blood. Raquel tells Blanca that she will suffer more than her past victims. Blanca urges Raquel to let her go for the sake of the child she is carrying. Raquel can't seem to hear this. Just then she receives the call from christobal. He asks her where Blanca is, telling her that they already know the whole truth. Blanca sees that Raquel is distracted and decides to run. Raquel tells Christobal that she has always loved him, she realizes that Blanca has run, she let's go of the phone and shoots the roof calling Blanca's name in anger. Eduardo, his brothers and Adriano hear this. Eduardo is afraid that Raquel will kill Blanca. Adriano tells him that Blanca is pregnant with his child, and maybe Raquel will show some compassion. Eduardo is more determined to find them. They decide to go to where Blanca and Raquel are after tracing the call.

Raquel is now looking for Blanca. She has gone completely mad and is calling Blanca Valentina. Blanca hides but Raquel is able to find her. Blanca is abit weak. She tells Raquel that she isn't Valentina. Raquel is not listening to her. Her. She takes her and ties her up on a chair. Eduardo and Adriano are coming for Blanca. Eduardo does not understand why Adriano had to use Blanca but Adriano says he doesn't regret it because of that game, Eduardo and Blanca met. Eduardo tells him that Blanca and him had already met earlier. Raquel tells Blanca that there was only one man who had loved her for who she was and Blanca had ruined that too. It was Ivan. She goes over and touches Ivan's ghost. She turns to Blanca and points the gun to her. Now more than ever she is determined to pull the trigger.
