Damini asks tani to go and get the gift for her. She gives urmi a diamond necklace. she happily accepts it. All look on. Unable to take it anymore, samrat leaves disgusted. tani is told by urmi, that such small things and issues, are what make marriage a sweet journey. she asks tani that she definitely must be missing such things. tani is visibly uncomfortable.
In the kitchen, samrat finds that the jar containing sugar contains salt, and the vice cersa. He wonders how is this possible. urmi comes in smirking. urmi says that she herself changed the jars, as she had the intuition that he would do something like this, given his nature. She says that to ruin her, he stooped down to such a low level and womanly attribute. she starts taking another serving, teasing and taunting him all the more. She says that this is just the beginning, of his debacle. she asks him to stay put, as his personality shall ruin and destroy him one day. she says that the crossroads where he is, he should stop wasting his time to bother her, and spend more time to settle himself. she again reminds him of the 24hours promise, and says that she doesnt want that he comes to senses after being thrown out. she tauntingly gives him the dessert and leaves. he is enraged at her. He thinks that he would have to secure his place in the house, so that all of her plan fail.

Urmi comes to shaurya and he hugs her. All get emotional to see the mother-son reunion, as tears storll down urmi’s cheeks. She says that she missed him, and he reciprocates asking when would he go with them, and if samrat has left or not. urmi is tensed. She says that he hasnt, but will soon. she then says that after that shaurya would be with her. he happily agrees, and asks her not to bother for him. he gets emotional. Saroj asks them to sit down. Shaurya goes inside to show something for urmi. After he leaves, saroj asks if she found out about her drunken behaviour last night. Saroj asks how could this happen. Urmi tells saroj and everyone else, how her drink was tampered and how she thinks samrat must have been behind it. All are tensed. gaurav is enraged. Granny asks what now. urmi says that whatever samrat does, she shall not feel intimadated, and shall give back a tit for tat response. She says that would happen, what she wants.
As gaurav’s personal secretary calls up, asha continues her nonsensical rant in english, and dismisses her off, pisses that its a girl. Asha is shocked to hear this, and gets enraged. She gets to know that she joined last week only. she cancels the call, refusing to let her talk to him. She starts suspecting that he has an extra-marital relationship, and starts connecting the dots together.

Samrat comes to the waiter’s aide room, and then asks for his stuff. the waiter gives him a pile of jewellery, that he stole unrisked by the police’s beatings. samrat collects it. samrat begins to leave, when the waiter asks for his share too, in a nice manner, reminding how he ruined ishaan and urmi’s wedding night, on samrat’s instructions. he gives him a necklace, smiling.

As urmi comes home, ishaan asks her to sign some hotel papers. As she complies, Anirudh and sandhya’s husband return. Urmi rushes to get coffee for them, but anirudh stops her. Suddenly, limping on his feet, samrat walks in, shouting everyone to gether together, his hand containing the same packet. He says that he found the stolen jewellery. All are shocked, while ishaan and urmi are doubtful. He shows them the jewellery. He hands them to urmi, while she is shocked and stunned. She eyes him suspiciously. Sandhya’s husband asks how did he search them. He winces in pain, and says that the theft made him restless, and decided to find out about this, by getting to the bottom. the investigation started. ishaan doubtfully asks whats the whole story. samrat gave a make-believe story, as to how he heroically saved the jewellery from criminal thieves. tani is concerned for his safety, while he pretends to be noble. tani comments that samrat is very brave, while he continues to romance with her. Anirudh is pleased with him, and urmi and ishaan get tensed to see that he fell prey to samrat’s pray. Damini too says that they had lost all hopes. anirudh says that they were wrong in judging him, as he can see how much samrat cares for everyone in the family, and that tani’s choice for him isnt that wrong. He says that he sees his reflection in him, as he used to be brave like this. he praises him galore, while samrat is excited. urmi and ishaan are shocked, as anirudh declares him as the son-in-law of the house, whole heartedly. urmi is stunned. samrat eyes her evilly, thinking that he created such a scene, that the head of the family is praising him. Anirudh says that he is kind hearted and self-reliant, but he loves tani so much, that he is willing to be Ghar jamaai. He starts praising him about how he has sacrificed his ego and self respect, to gain her family’s trust. He says that he is proud of him, due to tani. Anirudh says that till now, tani never did the right thing, but by choosing him, he forgave her all her mistakes. he says that he selected a gem of a husband. He says that he feels sorry for him, as love has made him helpless. He asks tani to value him. he hugs samrat. From his shoulder, samrat eyes urmi evilly.
Later, in the room, ishaan asks anirudh how could he fall for samrat’s statements and demeanour. Anirudh says that it isnt as it seems. Ishaan is boggled. Anirudh says that the biggest loss, is when the person knows that he has won and starts celebrating, and samrat is behaving like that, and hopes that he lives in this hallucination for somemore time, so that they get the chance to catch him off guard. He says that he did this on purpose, so that he falls in his own trap, by praising him fakely so much. Ishaan is confused. Anirudh says that people like samrat are like poisonous snakes, ready to bite anytime, and hence this is the best way to get rid of him. ishaan is confused and tensed. Anirudh says that he shall make samrat so guilty that he would himself run away. ishaan is still unconvinced and boggled. Anirudh says that this is his and urmi’s plan. he relates how urmi apologised for whatever happened, and says that samrat came for the wrong motives. She says that there’s no lizard, and tani thanks the lord. ishan says that he knows his childhood friend, and he knows he is scared of lizard which brought him back to senses. urmi says that its good he regained his senses, so that they can start with the Vidaai rituals, and asks him to come down. samrat is in a world of torture, as there’s no way out.
Ishaan gets the car ready that shall leave them to the airpot, and samrat keeps every step, with a heavy heart. tani too leaves happily. Urmi smirks at samrat, who is angered. ishaan asks samrat to come along. Tani performs the vidaai rituals. Urmi comes beside samrat, asking how he feels, as it isnt 24hours still, and he has already pakced up. She congratulates him on hie new life and new wife. He asks her not to get too happy, as he is leaving, but wont leave her, and before holi, he shall return again, to spoil her holi, and poison her life. Urmi isnt unfazed, while samrat challenges her. They finally leave.
In the evening, Damini is reminded by sandhya of the Pagphera ritual, when urmi comes tonight. She again taunts damini of her ill luck, about her son’s readymade wife, and her readymade grandson. She taunts damini, and she gets enraged. Anirudh comes and asks them to hurry, and damini resignedly agrees. ishaan and urmi enter with shaurya, and damini performs the ritual, along with anirudh. Damini puts a brave face as she performs the puja, and then allows them to come inside. Sandhya thinks that damini’s status has been reduced to that of a helpless woman. Finally, they are welcomed inside. Shaurya is given much love and affection by everyone. Ujala takes shaurya to show him his room.
Inside, all sit down, and have a light banter. Anirudh presents them flight tickets for their honeymoon. They both are baffled. He excitedly gives them, while they are tensed amongst themselves. Sandhya taunts them. Damini doesnt say anything.
In the room, urmi is tensed, as to how they shall explain to their parents that they wont go to the honeymoon. She wonders what reason they shall give on not going to the honeymoon. He asks her not to be tensed, and asks her to have faith in him, that he shall manage. He says that anirudh shall not know the real reason too. Before they can discuss any further, shaurya comes in gloating about his wonderful room. They all start bantering happily with shaurya. Ishaan gets emotional, when in the happiness, shaurya refers to him as PAPA. he is thoroughly overwhelmed with emotions, and urmi gets emotional too. Shaurya senses the awkwardness as he asks if he can call his his father. Ishaan emotionally complies yes. He and urmi eye each other, as shaurya hugs them.
Downstairs, sandhya tries to point out the fact that tomorrow is Shivratri, and the new bride has no tension, as she is busy packing for the honeymoon. Ishaan and urmi down the stairs hear this and are tensed. The maid says that all arrangements have been done by urmi only, and she herself asked her to go and ask damini if there’s anything else that remains to be done. Sandhya’s husband is satisfied. Anirudh praises urmi. Damini sends the maid off. Anirudh asks them both to sit. Urmi signals him to speak. Shashi starts giving excuse of such short notice. he silences her and asks her not to mess with anything. He says that he would reach in the next 4,5 hours. She tries to get him happy, saying that she would manage everything. He asks her not to dare have any troubles. She complies. Samrat vents out his frustration.
Finally, samrat reaches home, and tani is over excited. he laments at his condition. Samrat finally walks up the stairs with tani. She is very excited, to meet his parents. Finally shashi welcomes them, and is over excited as samrat told her to act. She is shocked that samrat never touched her feet, but did today and asked his wife also to do the same. she happily hugs tani. He asks her to control her overacting. He asks where’s diwaker and shashi hollers for diwaker and kanchan. Some other couple come. Samrat thinks that diwaker is okay but the fake kanchan is nice, as he leeringly eyes her. He hugs diwaker put of pretentious care and affection. He is about to hug the bhabhi, but she flinches as he comes closer. As they all go inside, Samrat drags shashi out, asking how did she get a bengali bhabhi. She says that this is the maximum that she could manage. He asks her to get the stuff inside. Shashi is angry at him.

Ishaan hesitates and says that if people get to know then it would be very unsettling. Damini is shocked, as she overhears from outside, that urmi tells ishaan inside, as to how long they shall be able to hide the truth, that they maybe married, but they havent consummated their marriage, nor do they live like a married couple. the screen freezes on her shocked face.
