LIKE TO APPRECIATE, COMMENT AND SHARE
Quick recap. Thanks to Tian Jing Zhi (Wu Qian) getting into a car accident and her blood brings Xue Ling Qiao (Kim Tae Hwan) back from the dead. The police, as well as the research facility that Ling Qiao was supposed to be brought to, are looking for the now missing body. Jing Zhi is desperate to change her luck so she tries to rent a room which Ling Qiao takes, she tries to get rid of him with no success so they are now living together, much to Jing Zhi’s dismay. She is determined to get him out of her house so she agrees to help him track down his enemy so she can go back living her peaceful life. She gets Ling Qiao a job as a taekwondo teacher so that he can make some money, and will be acting in her drama as the main villain.
So we’re back to the phone call between Jing Zhi and Dong Dong, Jing Zhi runs down stairs to make sure that Ling Qiao didn’t kill her parents but instead they are getting along super well and she see that as even scarier. Her parents have started calling him son-in-law, and they really seemed to like him. While she says goodbye to her mother, her mother threatens that if she breaks up with him or harm their unborn child than she will be disowned.
Ling Qiao preps to leave based on the conversation they were having before her parents arrived. Jing Zhi accuses him of not hearing them before they arrived, however he turns it around on her and tells her that he couldn’t hear over her crying. He tells her that she can have the director call him directly when they have the shoot schedule is ready. She asks him why he’s leaving and he tells her that he’s tired of relying on someone. She starts begging him to stay. He turns her words back on her and tells her that he’d rather die than continue living in the same house as her. She tells him that she will do anything to make him stay, and his plan of making sure he can stay in the house is a success. She tries to have him sign a guarantee but he tears it up and tell her it would be nice if she followed through but he doesn’t need it and he heads to bed.
The next day Zhang Xuan Xuan (Shen Meng Chen) and Jing Zhi goes to see Hong Shi Guang (Lin Xin Liang) to apologizes for Ling Qiao actions. They got to his apartment which is a downtown penthouse. While on the way up Jing Zhi complains to Xuan Xuan about her never letting her buy her family’s stock. Xuan Xuan reminds her that no matter how strong the stock that she buys is, they always crash and burn after she buys it. While in the apartment Shi Guang apologizes that his episode on set made them delay their filming of the episode, and Jing Zhi apologizes for Ling Qiao scaring him so badly. Jing Zhi tells him that Ling Qiao teaches Taekwondo and does parkour so he is quite active. Shi Guang confides in her that he is quite weak and his doctors keep telling him to get more exercise. She promises him that she will introduce him to the dojen where Ling Qiao teaches.
Xuan Xuan and Shi Guang go to his foundation’s fundraiser where they have a mini press conference after. Shi Guang then opens up to Xuan Xuan that he had a hard life growing up, he is the illegitimate son of his father, and his mother died while giving birth to him and his nanny raised him. Due to their relationship he felt like he should at least tell her about it.
Ye Chen gets the blood results back for some samples that he ran, however he gets an extra set of results that doesn’t look to be his. He assumes that the sample must belong to Professor Li, though he does find it odd that there isn’t a sample# assigned to the test. Chen is happy to see that there was some perfect enzymes in the blood however when he tried to get more information on where the sample came from Professor Li just told him that the sponsor had sent the results.
Ling Qiao is fixing the bathroom door while he and Jing Zhi start having a conversation about trying to track down the people who have the jade plaque. Jing Zhi askes if he tried to visit them, he told her he had but they had already moved. He mentions that the police could find out where they are however they would have to get someone to do it. Ling Qiao hints that she should as Li Yan Zhi (Fu Jia) to help her. She refuses not wanting to appear in front of Yan Zhi’s colleagues after last night. Ling Qiao tells her the best way to move past it is by just facing them with her head held high.
Dong Dong gets a call from Ling Qiao to help him with something. He comes over and makes a believable background for him. Right after that we see a little of Jing Zhi going to Yan Zhi at the office, but then we flip straight to the bar without yet seeing what transpires at the office. Jing Zhi gets drunk and goes to the bathroom while Dong Dong and Ling Qiao talk about how to get into the police database to obtain the information needed to track down the people he’s looking for. When Jing Zhi comes back she gets on stage and starts singing a love song which people assume is her confessing her love to her boyfriend, Ling Qiao.
Xuan Xuan goes to see Yan Zhi about this development and tells him that she’s worried about Jing Zhi. She believes that Ling Qiao is a con man who prays on wounded woman, and she insists that he looking into him for her. Yan Zhi recalls how Jing Zhi was acting when she came to the office with lunch for everyone (a little over the top) and he agrees to take a look.
Jing Zhi meets with Chen who jokes about her still having feeling for him and using as her back up guy. She tells him that she wanted to take him out for coffee as an apology of not remembering anything after the accident. She tries to probe him about the sponsor of the lab but she can’t get any information out of him because he doesn’t know. They do however talk about Professor Li and she told him how he had been worried that she might be suffering from some lingering effects from the car crash and had wanted to take her blood. Chen links the blood results to Jing Zhi and suddenly looks very worried.
After shooting for the day, Ling Qiao comes to pick up Jing Zhi but it scares her because she was planning on picking him up from the dojang. Ling Qiao explains that due to the kids physical in the morning, evening classes were cancelled for the day so he came to pick her up. He probes about her coffee date with Chen and she tells him that she couldn’t get anything out of him. Ling Qiao had removed his eyes from the road a but too long and he had to make a quick stop causing Jing Zhi to scratch her wrist. He suddenly puts 2 and 2 together, he mentions that Professor Li wanted to give her a physical, which she reminds him she refused, but he also reminds her that the next day she got hurt. Jing Zhi seems shocked to think that Professor Li was behind her getting hurt but it did make sens.
Chen waited in the lab with a bottle of wine for Professor Li. When he shows up Chen confronts him about hurting Jing Zhi. After a glass of wine Professor Li admits that he did switch out the knife but it was only because the accident she was in was so sever that she should have died or at least had so major injures yet she was fine,so he needed to check. Chen at this point is furious with him, he warns him that this time he will pretend that he knows nothing but if one other person gets hurt he will not stay quiet.
While Jing Zhi and Ling Qiao talked she mentioned that it was a good thing that the dress from the accident was lost since it could be bad if anyone got their hands on it. Ling Qiao tells her that it didn’t go missing by chance, it went missing because he had stolen it. Dong Dong reviewed who had looked into Ling Qiao’s past and both Xuan Xuan and Yan Zhi had taken a look into is file.

When they arrive, Jing Zhi makes sure that Ling Qiao looks presentable and she was starting to feel nervous because it was their debut as a couple. They get shown to the table and after Ling Qiao shakes Shi Guang’s hand he warns him that he is suffering from malnutrition and lack of exercise. Shi Guang tells him that thanks to Jing Zhi he will be starting to take Taekwondo at the dojang where he teaches and he tell him to come see him anytime if he needs.
