Alfredo runs into his former lover as he’s leaving Marcelo’s office. Adriana Murillo.

She tells him that he must be mistaken, but nope, he’s absolutely certain. Well, Adriana is Rebeca’s sister, who died many years ago. They must be twins then.

After Rebeca leaves, he asks Normita what her name is, Rebeca, Rebeca Murillo.

Outside, Rebeca asks herself, what the hell is he doing here?

Norma runs into Marcelo’s office.

She asks him who that man was, that Alfredo Suárez. He’s Marcelo’s exgirlfriend  Daniela’s father, why? Because when he was leaving, he ran into Rebeca, and said hello as if he knew her, but he called her Adriana instead. But Rebeca said that he was confusing her with her sister Adriana. Normita adds that she looks nothing like Adriana, so it would be difficult to mix them up. Marcelo knows exactly what’s up, he’s seen this show before.

A happy Lety pays Sara a surprise visit at her office, she has good news. She’s going to have a boyfriend!!!. Sara is alarmed, lol. She’s worried it’s Rodrigo, but no Sergio. Phew, Sara is relieved. But Lety is annoyed that stupid Sergio doesn’t realize she likes him, but she knows he likes her because she overheard him breaking up with Gloria and telling her that he’s in love with her. Sara is pleased that Lety trusted her enough to tell her.

Roman stops by Magdalena’s house to see Lucia, who is in bed, wearing purple satin pjs with her initials embroidered on them. Magdalena asks Lucia who he is, he’s Nora’s doc, oh, but why does he want to see you? Yeah, good question Mags. Oh, and Sara called to let you know that she and the gynecologist will be by in an hour.

Roman enters, he wants to know if she’s preggers, he’s crossing his fingers she’s not. 

She still doesn’t know yet, he’ll just have to hold his horses. Marcelo came by earlier and was upset that Roman knew more about her situation than he did, but this makes Roman smile, he thinks its a good sign that he can move in any moment now. She wonders how Marcelo knew she was there, it must have been Nora telling him. Then she goes on to tell Roman how Nora has changed, she must want her and Marcelo to get back together. Roman knows the real reason, and he surprises me a bit and tells her to not trust Nora, she may not have good intentions after all.

Nora greets Rebeca as she enters the house, how was the factory? Horrible, and she also wasn’t able to see the will yet. Nora asks if she thinks Alonso left everything to Lucia, but Rebeca shoots that down. Well, Nora reminds her that Al loved Lucia more, blah blah blah. Rebeca doesn’t want to hear it just like we don’t and goes upstairs to her room.

Once up there, she calls Normita to ask why that stranger was at the factory, and she tells her that he was seeing Marcelo for a personal reason. This causes Rebeca to pop some pills.

At the same time, Alfredo calls Milagro to meet with her.

Marcelo tells Naz his suspicions, Rebeca used Adriana’s name to have an affair with Alfredo years ago, but he wonders when? Just ask him, Naz suggests. Oh, here comes a bomb! Alfredo had a relationship with Milagro too!!! (wow, this guy will have an affair with anyone) and he wouldn’t want Alfredo to tell her anything. Naz wonders why she would use Adriana’s name. She could deny having affairs this way. Well, Lucia and Alonso already knew she did, why deny now? He doesn’t know. At the end of their visit, Marcelo tells Naz that Lucia is pregnant.

Clara comes home, her comadre was there watching Benito. poor Clara, no luck finding a job, and she needs money for the doctors too. Comadre, don’t remember her name, then tells her that the police are looking for her, and hands her the card he gave her. Clara doesn’t think talking to them would be a good idea, she’ll get accused of killing Trini and be thrown in jail. Benito comes in, having heard this and asks who Trini is and why would she be accused of killing her? Clara explains it all to him, and he wisely tells them that if she hasn’t done anything, she should talk to him because avoiding them makes her look guilty.

Those detectives, at the same time, are discussing them too. Ramos tells the comandante that he ran into the neighbor, and she was nervous. He wants him to check the hospitals, he knows she has a sick child.

After Roman leaves, Mags is talking to Lucia about him. She told her that Roman is interested in her, but she swears she’s been completely honest about her feelings toward him. But she confesses that if she were to fall in love with him, life would be so much easier, there would be no conflict at all with Nora or Rebeca. They are interrupted by the gynecologist's arrival.

Alfredo meets up with Milagro at his hotel’s lobby. After exchanging pleasantries, Milli wants to know why he wanted to meet with her, did he find out who Daniela is dating? He lies and tells her no, but he wants to find out about  3 women that the investigator mentioned. Does she remember a woman he met years ago named Adriana Murillo? Well, this man that Daniela is dating has some connection to that family. Well, she knows Rebeca, and Magdalena Murillo, and the other sister is the mother of Marcelo’s new girlfriend. She doesn’t know her name, but she died back when Lucia was born. He would like her to find out her name, he wants to know if she’s the same woman he knew years ago.

Back to the gynecological exam, he’s done. And like the finale of American Idol, the doctor asks Sara for the results of the pregnancy test. He unfolds the paper and takes his time to read it. The results are in: Lucia isn’t pregnant, and never was. But a confused Lucia asks why she had morning sickness, pain in her abdomen, and  bleeding? He wants to know if she was taking something to abort a baby? Well, of course not. Well, the blood tests show that her blood contained substances that would cause an abortion. Lucia denies that, of course, well, she doesn’t need to be concerned about hurting a fetus, she was never pregnant to begin with. The doctor takes his leave. Lucia breaks down.

Sara is downstairs looking over the test results. Mags joins her. Sara tells her that Lucia did in fact ingest something that causes abortions. Mags tells her that she would never do that, but Sara offers another suggestion, maybe someone else fed it to her. Mags asks who? Really Magdalena? Sara offers Rebeca, they both know what she’s capable of, but they have no proof. Mags is going to have to be vigilant. Lucia doesn’t have Alonso to protect her anymore.

Lucia calls Marcelo to tell him the news.

Marcelo comes home, and Rafaela consoles him. She tells him that Millie is meeting with Alfredo, and Marcelo tells her that he stopped by to see him too. Alfredo asked him to talk to Daniela to give up her relationship with Ricardo. He’s going to do it.

Mags tries to talk Lucia out of going back home, she wants her to stay with her, without telling her her suspicions about Rebeca, but Lucia insists on going home.

Ricardo calls Dani telling her that he can’t see her, he has to drop off papers but he’ll leave keys for her to let herself in and he’ll meet her there.  Then Marcelo calls her to meet up.

Lucia comes home and goes right up to see Rebeca. She wants to read the will tomorrow so they can settle who’s in charge of the factory. She goes to her room, picks up a picture of Alonso and tells the picture that she thought the pregnancy was a sign from heaven that she was supposed to be with Marcelo. I guess Roman passes go now.

Rebeca listens to her crying outside her door.

Marcelo meets Daniela at a cafe. She asks if he’s done with Lucia, he doesn’t know, because he’s been on again off again this entire show, 87 episodes, and he may very well get back together with her and break up with her a few more times before the gran finale. He wants to warn her about Ricardo, she doesn’t want to hear it, but he quickly tells her that Ric was engaged to Magdalena, ready to marry, but left her at the altar. Now she’s interested, she stays to hear the rest. Ric left Mags for Rebeca, Daniela can’t believe that, Ric said he’s only had bad problems with Rebeca, he can’t stand her. Well, Marcelo’s telling her the truth, she shouldn’t trust him. Marcelo cares about her, he doesn’t want her to get hurt, so he’s telling her this. She gets up and leaves.

Ricardo hands Amador the papers he’s going to file against Marcelo. He’s off now to see Daniela.

Rafaela is serving dinner to Milagro. She tells her that Marcelo is seeing Dani, at the request of her father. Milli is pleasantly surprised, then asks Raf what the name of Lucia’s mom is. Adriana.

Dani lets herself into Ric’s apartment, he’s not there yet. She’s clearly upset, she tears up the note he left her saying he won’t be too late. He left the note on top of the folder containing a copy of the lawsuit against Marcelo, and she can’t help but take a look. Just then, Ricardo comes in, and she holds it up, asking what it is? Does she know him? He realizes then that she does,  and then she asks him why he left a woman at the altar, and what kind of man is he? She throws more accusations at him, he’s a fraud, a liar, and a hypocrite. Now she knows what kind of relationship he had with Rebeca. She’s embarrassed that she believed his story, too bad Rebeca didn’t kill him when she had the chance.

He wants to clear his name, but she said that everyone was warning her about him, but she wouldn’t listen. But finally, the blindfold has been dropped from my eyes and she knows who he is now. She tells him that she doesn’t know what he’s planning against Marcelo, but he better leave him alone. She races out, drives like a maniac, and yes, you guessed it, has a bad car accident. Too bad for Marcelo, she won’t be able to reveal what’s coming. 

TUESDAY ON MY AMAZING BOYFRIEND - EPISODE 8 ON JOY PRIME @ 6: AM

Back to the double date, Xuan Xuan asks if Ling Qiao has a house in China, in which he answers that he has none…yet. He’s planning on buying one of the central mansion islands and live there with Jing Zhi once the construction is done. Shi Guang compliments his good taste. But in Jing Zhi’s mind, she brands Ling Qiao a foolish braggart. Haha! Shi Guang turns to Jing Zhi and then praises her secret advocacy of digging wells in Africa. If he only knew that she’s doing that to change her luck. Haha!

Professor Li receives a call from the enemy and he immediately leaves the lab. Ye Chen sees Professor Li leaving and follows him. However, he gets distracted by the interview video of Shi Guang and Xuan Xuan aired on the roadside billboard and lost track of Professor Li.

The good professor finally meets the enemy and based on his surprised reaction, we can assume that he didn’t expect the enemy to be that person. On the latter part of the episode, we see that the enemy wants the professor to discover the secret behind the monster’s immortality and how it can be killed. He also warns Professor Li not to be too curious and stick to the plan or something bad will happen to his family.

The enemy and Mr. Zhang, the henchman, negotiate with the owner of the “monster” video online. Mr. Zhang comments that the owner is very greedy for asking 5 million just for the video. On the other end of the line, the seller is tracking the enemy’s address. Mr. Zhang then notices that the seller is dragging time and soon realizes that he is trying to locate them. The enemy immediately terminates the conversation.

Turns out the seller of the viral video is Ling Qiao himself. Ah, so that explains his laid-back attitude. With Dong Dong’s help, they tried to lure the enemy and track him down. Dong Dong is apparently disappointed that their plan failed. But Ling Qiao is optimistic. At least, they knew that the enemy is filthy rich and is willing to use money to kill him.

Jing Zhi is getting nervous by the second. The “monster” video is nearing its 5 millionth view and if the owner makes good on his promise to release an HD version, they will be screwed. And the moment of truth arrives. Dun-dun-dun! Out of the blue, the director gladly informs Jing Zhi that there is no HD video, instead, they used the hype to plug their own drama. Phew! Jing Zhi finally breaths a sigh of relief after hearing the good news.

Jing Zhi is excited to tell the news to Ling Qiao and Dong Dong. But of course, it comes as no surprise. Jing Zhi is clearly annoyed upon knowing that they planned the whole thing and they didn’t bother to tell her.

Ye Chen is pretty excited to tell Professor Li that he’s invited to join an international symposium. However, the professor says he won’t be attending due to a half-month long business trip. But Ye Chen knows better.

Jing Zhi is giving Ling Qiao a cold treatment. Ling Qiao is rather confused of her behavior. She retorts that she’s acting like an average girlfriend and besides, normal couples argue. Still, Ling Qiao doesn’t understand as he admits he has never been in love before.

Ye Chen goes to the symposium venue and is joined by Xuan Xuan in the elevator. Xuan Xuan probes why he’s there and he says he’ll be attending a seminar. He guesses that she’s meeting her fiance but she smugly corrects that it’s her family’s hotel. He then continues with a jibe, saying that even though her family is wealthy enough, they are still forming a business merger through marriage. Xuan Xuan reasons that unlike a simple researcher like him who just waits for generous donors to fund his research, they (the bourgeoisie) need to earn money. Suddenly, the elevator malfunctions and Xuan Xuan loses her footing. Ye Chen catches her and laughs. He finds their situation ironic because of all the people he could be trapped with, it’s her. Xuan Xuan pulls away and Ye Chen notices that she sprained her ankle. He tells her to take off her heels but Xuan Xuan refuses, saying that a woman without heels is like a shoulder without weapon. Haha!

Xuan Xuan gets off first. Ye Chen proceeds to the venue and there he meets his senior. Coincidentally, his senior is studying about cell preservation. He shares that frozen cells can resurrect if exposed to the right temperature. Ye Chen relates the discovery to the dormant body’s case and theorizes that the corpse was awakened by Jing Zhi’s blood. Yes, buddy. This is why you’re a scientist. Demn, you’re smart!

At the film set, Jing Zhi is still peeved. The director then talks with her about a possible kissing scene between Xuan Xuan and Ling Qiao. She obviously doesn’t like the idea but since the director is very persuasive, she tells him to just ask Ling Qiao himself. If he agrees, she will consent to it. Of course, he agreed, much to Jing Zhi’s annoyance. Haha!

Xuan Xuan notices the indifference between the “couple” and inquires Ling Qiao about it. He confirms that Jing Zhi is angry at him and asks if she’ll be angry for a long time. Xuan Xuan answers no. And because Jing Zhi is dense, she’ll be okay after a meal. Haha!

Next we see Ling Qiao buying grocery at the supermarket. He’s having difficulty time choosing between two different pears. Thankfully, an elderly lady helps him. After a few minutes, Ling Qiao sees a random thief trying to steal the old lady’s wallet. The poor grandma fights back but the thief harshly shoves her away, causing her to fall unconscious. The thief tries to escape but Ling Qiao pulls him back. Remember he’s a “monster” so with just a little force, the thief comes flying back and sustains grave injuries. The thief then reverses the situation and shouts that Ling Qiao was the one who tried to mugged the elderly.

Ling Qiao is brought into police custody because of the incident. Yan Zi interrogates him and he incessantly denies the allegations. He reasons out that he was just trying to help and breaking the thief’s bones wasn’t intentional. But unfortunately, the old woman is still unconscious so no one can verify his statement.

Jing Zhi arrives at the station and she’s fuming that Ling Qiao called Dong Dong instead of her. She’s the pretend girlfriend after all. Dong Dong explains that may be Ling Qiao doesn’t want to trouble her.

Jing Zhi talks with Yan Zi to ask how Ling Qiao is. Yan Zi scoffs that she should be more worried for the thief Ling Qiao just assaulted. Jing Zhi explains that Ling Qiao won’t hurt somebody unless there’s a reason. Yan Zi had enough and tells her that Ling Qiao is a dangerous man who is not suitable for her. But she differs that though Ling Qiao has some violent tendencies, she still loves him and if he won’t leave, she won’t leave as well. Yan Zi is obviously enraged and suddenly coughs up blood. He tells Jing Zhi to leave and walks off in a hurry. I’m guessing he has a severe illness and that’s the reason why he broke up with Jing Zhi.:(

Jing Zhi is clearly for the worry LIng Qiao caused her. But he remains unperturbed and tells her to stop worrying about him. This riles Jing Zhi even more and declares that if he doesn’t concern then she’s fine with it. In fact, she wants to forget she even met him. After she left, Ling Qiao feels a tingling pain in his heart.

That night, Ling Qiao didn’t go home, which worries Jing Zhi even more.

Jing Zhi is still distracted by their lover’s quarrel. Dong Dong recommends that they patch up especially now that they’ll be shooting Xuan Xuan and Ling Qiao’s kissing scene. She dashes to the set and sees them acting the scene. Just when they’re about to kiss, Jing Zhi shouts “STOP”.Haha! Of course, the director is pissed at her.

Jing Zhi flees and cools off outside. Ling Qiao follows her as per instruction of Xuan Xuan. She asks him where he went last night but he passively answers that she has nothing to do where he spends his night. She defends that she has every right because she’s the “fake” girlfriend and a celebrity on top of that. Haha! But Ling Qiao stays undeterred and bluntly tells her she could always break up with him. Of course she can’t do that for two reasons. First, because Mom already warned she’ll cut ties if Jing Zhi gets dumped again. And second, because she likes Ling Qiao, which is obviously a wishful thinking on my part. Haha! Before he returns to the set, she tells him to instruct the crew to just angle the camera as if they were really kissing. Haha!

Xuan Xuan and Jing Zhi eats dinner together. Xuan Xuan delves on the spat between Jing Zhi and Ling Qiao. Jing Zhi relays that she’s angry because she was humiliated in front of Yan Zi. Xuan Xuan wonders if that’s really the case or is it because she’s worried for Ling Qiao. Xuan Xuan teases that if she’s really that in denial, then she could just break up with him. She taunts further that Ling Qiao’s kissable lips will sure attract girls. Haha! Jing Zhi can only threaten to break up their friendship. Haha! Xuan Xuan assures that Ling Qiao firmly “protected his body”. She also advises Jing Zhi to stop the hate because Ling Qiao went to the supermarket to cook for her as a peace offering. She knew because she was the one who wrote instructed him.

Dong Dong picks up Ling Qiao at the dojang but is surprised when he sees him talking and receiving a gift from one of his student’s mom. After they’re gone, Dong Dong confronts Ling Qiao.

TUESDAY ON TRIBES AND EMPIRES - EPISODE 9 ON JOY PRIME @9: PM

 At court, the Queen states that since the Emperor is ill, she shall thus convey his future decrees. Shuo protests, Queen says he should take some time off, he say the Emperor must personally convey this and walks towards them. Queen asks if he wants to rebel and Nanku Qi pipes in that he should be punished but Shuo is undeterred.
Gawd, she is so terrible and yet, I have a weird girl crush on her. And here, for the first time, I really appreciated General Shuo's stubborn stupid loyalty. By the way, the Emperor sheds a tear. It broke my heart...

Queen sees Shuo wouldn’t stop so she threatens the Emperor with Sheng’s safety and the Emperor whispers to Shuo to step down.
Oh, he can still whisper? Things are looking up. 

She then brings up the fact that he was missing when Emperor was hurt and the rumors from the lake letter orchestrated by Arch Prince. Shuo kneels in front of them, breaks the Purple Qilin in half and says from now he will share the Military power in the Kingdom with the Nanku Qi to the dismay of other sensible officials.
And to the dismay of me, not a sensible official.
The Emperor’s eyes are deadly as the Queen immediately re-assigns HeGe back from the barren wastelands.
Gaaaaaaaah. She's so efficient. Viper Queen. The Emperor cries some more. 
I know this won't end well for her.  That's my only consolation.

In town, Han Jiang hears rumors of the Emperor and his dad and goes looking for Sheng. Lan Yu’er (his maid) takes him to Sheng but stops him from actually seeing him. She tells him he sometimes loses his mind TT__TT when he sees people he knows. Han Jiang suggests they run away that he will look after them but Lan Yu’er told him the Queen forces him to the palace twice a day to see his dad in that state as to torment him. What a BITCH.
Wow, no words. By the way...who would assign such a pretty young maid to a young man?! I don't get that. Unless it's clear they will have sexual relations.
I was wondering about that myself.  Is she his maid, his housekeeper, his companion/concubine?  Some bit of all three?

Su Yu Ning re-appears at the Palace to plea for re-entry claiming she was pushed off a cliff. Although the Queen suspects/knows her niece orchestrated the disappearance, she (wow that DRESS!) denies her entry and orders her back home to be grounded. Han Jiang gives her something through Han Shan (Han Shan, Han Shan, Han Shan!) as she leaves for home. Han Jiang couldn’t give her personally as he has gone off to the Army.
Huh? She isn't dead? Who caught her (and didn't get flattened in the process)? Mysteeeeeerious. 
Well, she is the future Empress, so she couldn't be dead.

The Queen massages a clearly uncomfortable Emperor saying she doesn’t trust anyone else to do it (The moans before we saw them had me thinking they were doing another form of exercise which is clearly impossible in his state. But still… ). He tells her to go away but she essentially assaults him, kissing him, trying to make him bend to her will.
Ah, never say impossible! I am glad she wasn't raping him. It's not beyond her. 
Clearly it would be exactly her style.

She opens his cover and pulls out Yin Rong’s portrait that’s nestled next to him. She asks for love for taking care of him but he scoffs and says it doesn’t matter, he doesn’t love her. She flings portrait on the floor and watches as he super-humanly moves himself to get it. She asks for his love once again and rips the portrait to shreds when he denies her.
That is so.......goddamit. This scene was so scary and powerful. A man who can barely move, but claws his way to the portrait of a woman he still loves more than life.
And yet, she does not give up even when presented with that evidence...crazy woman.  I *should* have sympathy for her given the whole of their story, but her behavior makes it impossible. 

She goes to Yin Rong’s hall and tells her she’s going to make the Emperor forget what love is till only hatred fills his mind. Then she will be the only one for him. Yin Rong tells her she is pitiful and the barb seems to hit home. But, she steps out and her men burn the hall down with the Emperor right outside. WHAT A VILE EVIL BITCH.
Her logic is off though. This man will never forget his love. 
This I did not expect...but she is clearly going to Hell.

HeYe arrives at the city where the Old Man directed him to and gets drugged and robbed by petty thieves. When they see the ring however, they take him to the Duke Heng ship and when asked where he wants to go, he tells them Han prefecture.
That was cool. It reminded me of Game of Thrones and Arya. Are they merpeople?

We see all our 3 heroes - Han Jiang flourishing at army camp; HeYe in a Titanic pose and Sheng with his Pearl-orb which now shows a woman inside and get a Time Jump! (4 years later)
I love time jumps! Bring it ON!

A mysterious woman- she calls herself Nanku Qi’s niece but DF subs clearly says she is Princess Ji Yun Cong from a previous dynasty approaches Sheng’s quarters to get a portrait done. Sheng has become a renowned painter and many court ladies try to get him to paint them. She gives a sob story that she lost her lover and would like to offer a painting as offering.
She is dodgy as fook and she's a Nanku. Not good. 
Don't trust anything she says about herself.

Sheng is intrigued by her story and draws her. After, when he goes to get a basin to burn the painting, she steals another painting from his stash. She leaves hurriedly but Sheng follows to ask if she lied. She readily admits but he doesn’t get offended. Rather, he hands her back her portrait. She gives the painting she stole to some mercenaries who back out of their previous arrangement.
Okay, I was really intrigued by Sheng here. What a gentle, interesting young man. 
I really like him.

Sheng orders his remaining paintings to be burnt as to not provoke greed in other people and continues studying his Pearl. His maid asks if there is truly a woman in the orb and he says there is but he has never seen her face.
